【摘要】:ThisTechnicalReportdefinestheISOReferenceModelofDataManagement.Itestablishesaframeworkforcoordinatingthedevelopmentofexistingandfuturestandardsforthemanagementofpersistentdataininformationsystems.SeeAnnexAforreferencestoexistingdatamanagementstandards.ThisTechnicalReportdefinescommonterminologyandconceptspertinenttoalldataheldwithininformationsystems.Suchconceptsareusedtodefinemorespecificallytheservicesprovidedbyparticulardatamanagementcomponents,suchasdatabasemanagementsystemsordatadictionarysystems.Thedefinitionofsuchrelatedservicesidentifiesinterfaceswhichmaybethesubjectoffuturestandardization.ThisTechnicalReportdoesnotspecifyservicesandprotocolsfordatamanagement.ThisTechnicalReportisneitheranimplementationspecificationforsystems,norabasisforappraisingtheconformanceofimplementations.ThescopeofthisTechnicalReportincludesprocesseswhichareconcernedwithhandlingpersistentdataandtheirinteractionwithprocessesparticulartotherequirementsofaspecificinformationsystem.Thisincludescommondatamanagementservicessuchasthoserequiredtodefine,store,retrieve,update,maintain,backup,restore,andcommunicateapplicationsanddictionarydata.ThescopeofthisTechnicalReportincludesconsiderationofstandardsforthemanagementofdatalocatedononeormorecomputersystems,includingservicesfordistributeddatabasemanagement.ThisTechnicalReportdoesnotincludewithinitsscopecommonservicesnormallyprovidedbyanoperatingsystemincludingthoseprocesseswhichareconcernedwithspecifictypesofphysicalstoragedevices,specifictechniquesforstoringdata,andspecificdetailsofcommunicationsandhumancomputerinterfaces.Adatamanagementstandarddefinesservicesprovidedataninterface.Itdoesnotimposelimitationsonhowprocessesareimplemented.
