【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletotheinterchangeofcoordinatesdescribinggeographicpointlocation.Itspecifiestherepresentationofcoordinates,includinglatitudeandlongitude,tobeusedindatainterchange.Itadditionallyspecifiesrepresentationofhorizontalpointlocationusingcoordinatetypesotherthanlatitudeandlongitude.Italsospecifiestherepresentationofheightanddepththatmaybeassociatedwithhorizontalcoordinates.Representationincludesunitsofmeasureandcoordinateorder.ThisInternationalStandardisnotapplicabletotherepresentationofinformationheldwithincomputermemoriesduringprocessingandintheiruseinregistersofgeodeticcodesandparameters.ThisInternationalStandardsupportspointlocationrepresentationthroughtheeXtensibleMarkupLanguage(XML)and,recognizingtheneedforcompatibilitywiththepreviousversionofthisInternationalStandard,ISO6709:1983,allowsfortheuseofasinglealpha-numericstringtodescribepointlocations.Forcomputerdatainterchangeoflatitudeandlongitude,thisInternationalStandardgenerallysuggeststhatdecimaldegreesbeused.Itallowstheuseofsexagesimalnotations:degrees,minutesanddecimalminutesordegrees,minutes,secondsanddecimalseconds.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotrequirespecialinternalprocedures,file-organizationtechniques,storagemedium,languages,etc.,tobeusedinitsimplementation.
